Ham Radio Equipment Reviews
Antennas: HF Portable (field day types, backpacker types, etc - non mobile)

Mfg and model # = Buddipole/deluxe
Name = Pat, Freeland, MI
Call = KD8IVZ
Category type = Portable antenna hf
Rating = 5 Excellent
Time owned = 3 months
Purchased new or used? = New

Comments = I purchased the Buddipole to use as a portable, field deployable antenna for 40 and 20 Meters.  My first opportunity came during Field day.  As I set up the antenna, I heard comments like "what was I going to do with a Tinkertoy".  However, I set up and started making contacts on 15 meters (my assigned band) almost immediately.  Contacts from Maine, to Florida, South Carolina to California, Mexico and Canada were made during field day. My SWR was 1.1:1 with the inital adjustment.  I highly recomend this Product.
